The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will lead and implement key areas of Omnidian’s business intelligence strategy, engaging with leadership to provide insights and reporting across the organization. Responsibilities • Consult with and drive operational efficiencies for client reporting and cross functional leadership • Understand needs and translate them into business and technical requirements • Communicate and deliver on prioritization with the team • Design and implement datasets, metrics, and dashboards to support stakeholder needs • Create, maintain, and upgrade existing dashboards and data visualizations • Collaborate with Data Management team to create and maintain data quality and governance • Work with data engineering team to prioritize and contribute complex SQL to ELT pipelines • Distill Insights from cross functional business exposure into research that informs strategy • Create data driven stories and presentations • Communicate & present insights to key stakeholders to support business goals Skills • 7+ years of strong experience with Sigma or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) • 5+ years of strong SQL skills for writing, updating, and optimizing queries • 3+ years of experience with Databricks or similar Data Lake/Warehouse tools (e.g., Snowflake, Bigquery, Redshift) • Experience in collaborating with data management and data governance teams to implement standards in BI tools • Experience in advising senior management on data insights • Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets • Excellent at communication and stakeholder management, with a strong ability to tell stories using data-driven insights • Proficient in written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication • Skilled in cross-functional stakeholder management • Organized and capable of quickly reprioritizing and renegotiating commitments as priorities shift • A self-starter who can drive projects forward with input from various parties • Proficiency in Python is preferred but not required, particularly with analytical packages (pyspark, pandas, numpy, matplotlib) • Experience in the energy industry, particularly solar, is beneficial but not required Benefits • Family medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) administration and $1k match per year • 12 weeks of paid parental leave to all FTE employees (birthing and non-birthing) after 1 year, and four-week paid sabbatical leave after four years • Monthly health insurance premiums, bonuses and long-term stock options for every employee • Up to $500 annual learning reimbursement Company Overview • Omnidian is a provider of comprehensive protection plans for investments in residential and commercial solar energy systems.
