We are headquartered in Seattle, WA The Job Omnidian is seeking a Director of Client Success, Residential Markets to serve as the strategic architect for our most significant national-scale partnerships. In this high-impact role, you will own the lifecycle, satisfaction, and commercial growth of major solar financing and operations clients who rely on Omnidian for comprehensive technical and financial asset management.As the executive "voice of the client," you will bridge the gap between our partners' large-scale residential portfolios and our internal execution teams. You will ensure that our asset management products—ranging from technical performance monitoring to financial reporting—align perfectly with the strategic objectives of national-level financiers and asset owners. \n What You'll Do At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing: Executive Relationship Strategy: Act as the primary owner for national-scale residential solar financiers and O&M providers. You will navigate complex client organizations to influence key decision-makers (C-suite, Heads of Asset Management) to ensure long-term retention and partnership health. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale the Residential Client Success Management (CSM) team. You will foster a culture of high performance, guiding the team from tactical support to strategic account management. Portfolio Performance & Financial Yield: Collaborate with internal technical and financial teams to ensure client portfolios meet performance guarantees. You will be accountable for the narrative regarding yield expectations, SLAs, and technical uptime. Commercial Growth: Identify and execute opportunities for service expansion and upsell within existing major accounts, turning service delivery into revenue growth. Operational Excellence & Advocacy: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that provide actionable insights rather than just data. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Field Operations to advocate for features that drive value for national-scale clients. Contractual & Risk Management: Deeply understand and enforce Master Service Agreements (MSAs). You will ensure all technical and financial deliverables are met while proactively managing conflict and driving positive outcomes with at-risk accounts through transparency and solutions. Who You Are Professional Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in the solar industry, with at least 5 years in a senior account management or asset management role specifically supporting Third-Party Owned (TPO) residential portfolios. Financial Mastery: Deep understanding of solar project finance, including Tax Equity structures, PPA/Lease mechanics, and the financial impact of technical underperformance on asset valuation. Technical Fluency: High level of comfort discussing solar system architecture, inverter performance, and monitoring hardware (DAS) with technical stakeholders. Contract Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing multi-million dollar contracts, specifically enforcing MSAs and SLAs. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Experience You’ll Need Executive Presence: You command the room in high-stakes discussions with large-scale corporate entities and financiers. You speak the language of asset owners. Analytical Storyteller: You have the ability to translate complex technical data and financial metrics into a clear, executive-level narrative regarding portfolio health. Strategic Problem Solver: You excel at conflict resolution. You do not just report problems; you propose solutions that balance client satisfaction with internal profitability. Cross-Functional Influencer: You can navigate internal politics and advocate for your clients without losing sight of company goals. Experience That’s a Plus Advanced Education: MBA or an advanced degree in Renewable Energy or Sustainability. Industry Network: An existing network of relationships within residential solar or major national financing institutions. Tech Stack: Proficiency with Salesforce, BI tools (such as Sigma), and specialized solar monitoring platforms. Policy Awareness: Familiarity with state-level solar policies (e.g., NEM 3.0) and federal incentives (IRA). Field Experience: Background in solar O&M or Field Service, providing a "boots-on-the-ground" perspective.
