We have an immediate opening for a proactive Hardware Engineer to join our growing team located in Sugar Land, Texas. About the role: The Hardware Engineer will support new product development and sustain existing product lines. This role involves hardware design, documentation, troubleshooting, and testing using CAD tools, as well as generating schematics, PCB layoffs, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation. You’ll collaborate across teams, provide production support, and serve as a backup to the Production Supervisor to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hardware development, sustaining engineering, and process improvement, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum 40-hour workweek, with extended hours necessary to meet deadlines and business needs. Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to: · Hardware design, testing, troubleshooting · PCB layout, schematic capture, BOMs, CAD documentation · Embedded systems (ARM Cortex, FPGA, CPLD, power supplies) · Protype build, assembly, debug · Production support & process improvements · Cross-team collaboration & customer interaction Candidate requirements: · B.S./M.S.
