Job Title: Kotlin backend Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote) JD: Key Responsibilities: Design and develop backend services using Kotlin with a strong focus on scalability and performance. Build and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices. Work with Kafka or other streaming platforms for real-time data processing. Manage and optimize relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis, Couchbase) databases. Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure automated testing and CI/CD best practices. (Bonus) Work with financial data, third-party integrations, and high-throughput systems. Qualifications: 7+ years of backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin. Hands-on experience with Kafka, databases, and cloud-native microservices. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
