As we continue to grow, we are investing in better analytics and financial insight to drive smarter, faster decisions across our business. ________________________________________ Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing financial insight, developing performance dashboards, and supporting data-driven decisions across operations, procurement, and sales. This role will lead the weekly business performance analytics, annual budgeting process, and the design and automation of reporting tools using Power BI. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial acumen with hands-on experience in data visualization and operational reporting. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis • Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, partnering with business leaders to develop detailed P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections. • Prepare weekly financial performance reports, analyzing sales, margins, pricing, inventory, and logistics costs. • Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget, week-over-week, year-over-year) and communicate key business drivers and trends. • Support strategic and ad-hoc analysis, including product profitability, customer segmentation, and cost optimization initiatives. Business Intelligence & Reporting • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that visualize performance metrics across departments (sales, procurement, operations, logistics). • Integrate data from ERP, accounting, and warehouse management systems to create automated, accurate, and real-time reporting. • Continuously improve reporting processes by identifying automation opportunities and eliminating manual work. • Provide training and support to non-financial users on interpreting dashboards and financial reports. Operational & Strategic Support • Partner with sales, operations, and procurement teams to translate data into actionable insights. • Monitor product and customer profitability, pricing trends, and inventory turnover metrics. • Assist leadership with scenario modeling, investment analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations. ________________________________________ Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred). • 5+ years of financial analysis or FP&A experience, ideally in distribution, food, or CPG industries. • Strong understanding of P&L management, cost structures, and working capital. Technical Skills • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. • Proficiency in Power BI (or equivalent visualization tools) with proven experience in dashboard design and data integration. • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, MS Business Central, SAP) and data extraction tools. • Knowledge of SQL or data query languages is a plus.
