Job Details Job Location: Hyattsville Branch - Hyattsville, MD Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Not Specified Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 Hourly Job Category: Warehouse Description & Qualifictions Warehouse & forklift operations experience required COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: • Competitive hourly wages starting at $18.00- $23.00 per hour based on experience • Full time position with overtime potential - Monday thru Saturday work schedule with occasional Sundays in summer. • Uniforms provided • Generous company cost sharing = Low cost individual and family health and dental plans • 401 (K) with generous company match • Paid holidays and vacation • Profitability-based and recruitment referral bonuses as well as summer season crew bonus (criteria based) As a Warehouse Worker we would expect the individual to be trained and then be able to do the following: • Load and unload 3rd party in-bound & out-bound shipments • Complete warehouse forms to track customers storage • Sweep and maintain a clean work space • Learn and adopt best practices regarding inventory control. • Assist customers in vault access as needed following prescribed process and safety requirements. • Ability to lift items of varying weights and requesting assistance of those items weighing 50 lbs or more • Bailer operation and forklift operations re-training and certification will be provided • Ability to cover for shipping/receiving manager and warehouse manager as needed. • Individuals in warehouse are also expected to have knowledge of all mover responsibilities including packing, wrapping, materials identification and use and proper lifting, pushing, pulling and moving techniques where safety is a priority. REQUIREMENTS: • Must be at least 18 years old • Must have forklift operation experience; certification a plus • Must have reliable transportation to branch location • Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation • Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills • Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly • Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day • Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge • Available for on-time early a.m. schedule • High school or GED equivalent preferred About Olympia ABOUT OUR COMPANY: Olympia Moving & Storage, a rapidly growing relocation company with 300+ employees and locations in Boston, Washington DC, Austin, Philadelphia, and now open in Tampa Florida.
