The Sales Manager - Grocery will lead key customer sales relationships and manage partnerships for brands like OLLY and SmartyPants, driving growth through strategic planning and execution. Responsibilities • Lead all sales efforts within the designated area to include both customer and broker partnerships • Build and nurture customer relations with our category merchants and procurement buyers • Responsible for forecasting all business and achieving annual “net revenue” targets • Articulate all our brands unique and premium position to deliver overall growth to the Unilever WBC. • Annual Joint Business Planning with our strategic partnerships. • Category Stewardship within the VMS and OTC categories. Be the expert within our competing categories. • Strategically & profitably plan and execute Annual Business Plans at key accounts with strategic focus. • Be the “execution arm”. Bring our business plans to life at retail. • Plan and execute profitable, “on-strategy” annual promotion plans. • Ensure pricing/financial guidelines are followed in the marketplace. • Take lead on team projects and support sales associates.
