The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to support the CEO and Chief Underwriting Officer. This is a critical role within the global executive team, requiring discretion, professionalism, and the ability to adapt seamlessly across diverse personalities and fast-changing priorities. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and CUO, including complex scheduling across multiple time zones, travel coordination, and expense management. • Coordinate Board and Executive Committee meetings, including agendas, materials, and minute-taking. • Liaise confidently and professionally with senior external stakeholders. • Oversee and coach a Team Assistant, ensuring smooth delivery of administrative support across the business. • Support multiple senior executives and business development leaders with meeting logistics, travel, and ad hoc requests. • Draft, prepare, and review executive-level documents and presentations. • Act as a trusted partner to the leadership team-balancing pragmatism, adaptability, and discretion. • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and introduce best practices within the executive support function. Key Requirements & Candidate Profile • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite leaders in a property & casualty (P&C) insurance or reinsurance company, with additional exposure to office management responsibilities. • Direct P&C industry experience is essential - candidates without an insurance background cannot be considered. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, make sound decisions, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional attention to detail combined with professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different personalities and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
