The Night Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations during the night shift. This role includes supervising a team, ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of inventory, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. The manager will be responsible for meeting operational goals, improving processes, and addressing any issues that arise during the shift. This role is classified as essential, meaning the incumbent will be required to report to work during natural disasters, public health emergencies, or other critical situations that impact normal business operations. Normal operational hours for the Night Warehouse Operations Manager at Ole Tyme Produce are Sunday-Thursday, 1pm-finish. The salary range for this position is $65k-$79k, commensurate with experience and negotiable with the company's hiring team. Duties • Participate in all required training sessions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures outlined in the SQF HACCP & Food Defense plans. Ensure compliance with these standards by overseeing the implementation of SQF HACCP & Food Defense procedures across operations. • Supervise night shift customer order pallet selectors to ensure adherence to proper loading practices. • Monitor night shift customer order pallet selectors to ensure compliance with company (USDA) standards and customer specifications. • Oversee the process of splitting cases for night shift customer order fillers. • Ensure proper storage and handling of food and non-food items, in alignment with company SOPs. • Supervise the receiving process for both food and non-food items, ensuring that they are received from company-approved vendors in accordance with company (USDA) standards and customer specifications. Oversee PRPs related to receiving procedures. • Ensure the proper application and adherence to “Supervisor Checked” labels for customers requiring supervisor checks. • Ensure all equipment, surfaces, and coolers are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with SSOPs throughout the shift, with visual verification at the end of each shift. • Allergen control is a critical responsibility of the role and must be consistently maintained. • Attend all required training and stay current on procedures outlined in the Allergens SOP. Oversee the implementation of allergen control procedures throughout warehouse operations. • Address inventory shortfall reports and facilitate the purchasing of value-added and whole products from approved growers, shippers, or brokers. • Enter and oversee customer orders received via email, phone, voicemail, and EDI platforms, ensuring accurate processing. • Ensure timely shipment of all routes. • Produce and distribute driver manifests. • Coordinate truck routing based on the number of customer orders and ensure timely delivery within customer-anticipated time windows. • Serve as a member of the Crisis Management Team; the Co-Night Operations Manager acts as an alternate. • Collaborate with the facility SQF Practitioner and the Director of Physical Plant to coordinate routine equipment maintenance and ensure machinery is maintained according to individual equipment specifications. • Manage night operations budget coordinating with SQF Practitioner and Senior Management • Monitor department KPIs and performance metrics • Perform warehouse personnel assessments against KPIs and performance metrics • Develop routine cadence of performance evaluations on all members of the warehouse team • Drive corporate budget goals for department and company • Act as a Customer Relations Liaison, fostering positive customer interactions. • Train and certify employees on forklift and material handling equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards. • Perform additional tasks, duties, and assignments as directed by management.
