Working at Ohalo We exist to redefine how enterprises govern and secure unstructured data. Today, IT, security, and CDO teams take different approaches—operating in silos without a unified strategy. Traditional governance tools weren’t built for unstructured data, leaving enterprises with fragmented oversight, unmanaged risk, and underutilized information. That’s where Ohalo comes in. By applying AI-driven classification and automation, we bridge these gaps—transforming unstructured data into a strategic asset while unifying governance, security, and AI workflows. Our mission is to empower enterprises to take full control of their data, ensuring it is searchable, secure, and intelligently governed. Location: Fully remote, East Coast US (it is essential that your primary time zone that you work in is US Eastern time) THE ROLE We’re a fast-growing startup entering a critical stage of growth, and we’re looking for an entrepreneurial Sales Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, build-as-you-go environment. Around here, no job is too big or too small. You might run a C-level demo in the morning, dive into a POC configuration after lunch, and refine an RFP response before the day is over. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales you will have real ownership, direct impact on revenue, and visibility across the company. This role is ideal for someone who loves variety, learns fast, and has experience working with complex enterprise technologies such as identity and access management (IAM), data catalogs, data loss prevention tools, modern cloud storage platforms, container frameworks (like Docker), or even scripting in Python. If you’ve worked in a startup before, or are eager to jump into one, this is your chance to shape processes, influence product direction, and build a function from the ground up. Move quickly, wear multiple hats, and jump in wherever needed Partner with Sales & Customer Success to drive revenue and accelerate deal cycles Deliver compelling, technically sound demos and presentations that clearly convey value Own the technical components of RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, and due diligence Lead all POCs end-to-end, from scope, training, and technical validation Bring experience or familiarity with technologies like IAM, DLP, data catalogs, cloud platforms (Office365, Google Workspace, AWS S3, Azure), Linux environments (RedHat/CentOS), or containers (Docker) to help guide evaluations Build playbooks (https://github.com/Ohalo-Ltd/ohalo-playbooks) that solve customer needs Support solution selling into enterprise accounts, including direct C-suite engagement Translate customer requirements into architecture recommendations and product insights Build scalable, repeatable processes, documentation, and best practices for the pre-sales engine Contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced environment where processes evolve rapidly Identify gaps, propose fixes, and improve the way we work every week Who You Are You thrive in a startup.
