Together we have created a system for taking unrealized physical spaces and turning them into environments garnering genuine human connections that naturally create lasting brand awareness. Our company provides five main services; project management, design & branding, event management/production, fabrication, and installation. Role description: Oetee is seeking a Procurement / Job Cost Accountant who is passionate about a role in the design/build construction process to join our Chicago-based team. At Oetee, we empower our team members to drive their individual success. The Bookeeper at Oetee will have complete responsibility for day to day functionality of Oetee's Accounts Receivable, Payable, and Job Cost tracking. Key Responsibilities: • Transaction Recording: Entering daily financial data (sales, expenses, payments, purchases) into accounting software. • Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR): Managing invoices, processing payments, and tracking outstanding customer invoices. • Bank Reconciliation: Matching bank statements with internal records to identify discrepancies. • Procurement: Ordering and scheduling project materials for delivery . • Collaboration: Working with project managers and team members to finalize timelines and financial goals Required Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree or similar • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Quickbooks, Dropbox • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: • Bookkeeping Experience and use of Quickbooks • Highly organized with strong communication skills and emotional intelligence • Ability to work independently and anticipate employer’s needs Personal Attributes: • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams. • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a strong sense of initiative. • Passion for the creative industry, with a genuine interest in spatial design and production.
