Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with custodial tasks, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with team members and clients. Duties • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment • Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks such as polishing, scrubbing, or minor repairs as needed • Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure safety standards are met, including light repairs and inspections • Operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, or carpet cleaners efficiently • Manage heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and effectively • Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness • Communicate with supervisors and clients to address specific cleaning requirements or concerns • Maintain organized work areas and report any maintenance issues promptly Requirements • Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning machinery safely • Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts • Attention to detail in performing cleaning duties to ensure quality standards are met • Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and professionalism This position offers an opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across various facilities.
