The Marketing Operations Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance marketing efficiency and supports the CMO and Operations leader in achieving departmental goals. This role involves managing marketing systems, tracking campaign results, and ensuring adherence to operational guidelines.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 2-3 years in marketing analytics or operations, with experience in project management software, is required.

Job Summary Serves as the right hand to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Marketing Operations leader and focuses on increasing efficiency of the marketing team and resources to ensure achievement of goals and prioritization of key initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Collaborates with cross functional teams and strengthen partnerships (particularly with Sales and Product Management) to ensure progress and prioritization of key initiatives. 2. Provides critical feedback for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Operations leader, to help leadership stay informed. 3. Work with the Operations leader to log, record, and keep up-to-date planned activity, budget, and actual spend details. 4. Liaises with the Demand Generation team and Product Marketing team on marketing campaign execution, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and guidelines related to campaign planning, list segmentation, setup-up, tracking, lead handling, and reporting are upheld. 5. Partners with Demand Generation to track campaign and project results, to ensure company and marketing targets are achieved. 6. Identifies system and process gaps and owns root cause analysis for marketing system issues such as HubSpot, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and Customer Insights. 7. Communicates changes in campaign or project approaches to Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Sales Development Representatives, and modifies workflows or work approaches as needed by analyzing marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 8. Serves as the administrator/owner of the project management software (Wrike) and other MarTech systems to keep the team accountable for action items and deliverables. Modifies workflows and work approaches as needed, maintains user guides and standards for how we use MarTech, and supports the process for creating and updating process documentation. 9. Assists Marketing leadership in building effective reporting and dashboarding that is used at all levels of the marketing department to guide decision-making. 10. Supports the Operations leader in operational acquisitions, such as integration and migration of data for acquired companies. Education A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Marketing, Business Management, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree. Experience At least 2-3 years’ experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations and technology, or demand generation, with at least 2 years in marketing operations/automation, plus experience owning and administering a project management software tool, along with a proven background in managing business process or analytics from inception to delivery, and prior success in leading teams, projects, committees and/or workgroups. Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities: · Ability to interpret and develop actionable insights to inform marketing campaign strategies and project approaches. · Able to use, or learn to use, Microsoft CRM, Power BI, Wrike, and HubSpot. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others effectively. · Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and summarize status to senior leadership. · Creative and strategic approach to work, with the agility to master both the daily details and the big picture strategy. · Comfortable taking the initiative and working in a proactive and self-directed manner under minimal supervision, to achieve quality and productivity goals.
