Build automated solutions and tools to improve trading operations and support global markets.
Requires strong Python or SQL programming skills, 2-8 years operations experience, and a quantitative degree.
We’re working with a leading global algorithmic trading firm at the cutting edge of technology, quantitative research and financial markets. They’re looking for an Operations Analyst with strong coding skills to join a highly technical team where you’ll have the opportunity to build, automate and improve processes from day one. This is far from a traditional Operations role - you’ll sit at the intersection of Trading, Technology and Operations, working on real problems across the full trade lifecycle. What you’ll be doing: • Build automated solutions and tools using Python and/or Go • Use SQL extensively for data analysis, reporting and process automation • Support trading across global markets, including reconciliations, cash, positions and P&L • Work directly with traders, developers, brokers and exchanges • Identify operational inefficiencies and build scalable solutions to fix them • Gain exposure to multiple asset classes, products and the wider trading infrastructure What we’re looking for: • Strong programming skills in Python or SQL • Around 2- 8 years experience within operations • Quantitative degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field • Someone who genuinely enjoys coding, problem-solving and building things • Analytical, curious and proactive, with the confidence to challenge existing processes • An interest in financial markets and technology 💡 If you’re a technically minded Operations professional who wants to move beyond traditional BAU and have a real impact through coding and automation, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
