Role Overview: As an IR Tech on evening shifts, you will play a vital role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while assisting physicians with advanced imaging technology. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using imaging technology. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort throughout procedures. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care. - You will troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on vascular/interventional radiology. - You possess strong knowledge of imaging equipment and radiation safety. - You demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills. - You are able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working evening or variable shifts. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac imaging. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Previous experience in a high-volume hospital setting.
