Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician on evening shifts, you will play a vital role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment, contributing to high-quality patient care. What You'll Do: - You will operate and maintain interventional radiology imaging equipment during evening shifts. - You will prepare patients and assist physicians during IR procedures. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care. - You will troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine equipment checks. - You will participate in continuing education to stay current with IR technologies. - You will provide compassionate support to patients throughout their procedures. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care. - You are able to work flexible evening shifts as outlined (4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, or 5-2 split 12-hour shifts). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or outpatient IR setting. - Additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Ability to mentor junior staff or students.
