Role Overview: As an IR Tech on evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures by preparing equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during IR procedures by operating imaging equipment and monitoring patient status. - You will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. - You will maintain accurate documentation and records related to procedures and patient care. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize workflow and patient outcomes. - You will adhere to infection control and safety protocols consistently. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of IR equipment, imaging techniques, and patient care standards. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working evening or night shifts in a hospital setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional procedures. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
