Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician working evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment while providing exceptional patient care during various shift options tailored to meet operational needs. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures. - You will assist physicians during procedures by operating imaging technology and ensuring patient safety. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during procedures. - You will maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - You will manage multiple shift schedules including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, or 5-2 split 12-hour shifts. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with technological advancements. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and imaging equipment. - You demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills. - You are capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - You have flexibility to work various evening shift schedules as required. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy and CT. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional procedures. - Prior experience working in a large healthcare system. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
