Role Overview: As an IR Tech working evening shifts, you will play a vital role in supporting interventional radiology procedures by preparing equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - You will monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. - You will maintain a clean and sterile environment in the procedure rooms. - You will document procedures and patient information accurately in medical records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent). - You possess strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and interventional procedures. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to patient-centered care and safety. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or outpatient interventional radiology setting. - Additional certifications such as CPR, ACLS, or specialty radiology credentials. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off schedules.
