Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician working evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment, contributing to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures. - You will assist physicians during procedures by operating imaging technology and monitoring patient status. - You will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. - You will manage inventory and sterilization of instruments and supplies. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and procedures. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to patient-centered care and safety. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or outpatient interventional radiology setting. - Additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off schedules.
