Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician working evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of imaging equipment and assist physicians in delivering exceptional patient care during various shift options. What You'll Do: - You will operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to assist in interventional radiology procedures. - You will prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. - You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient workflow. - You will monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any changes in condition. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with technological advancements. - You will manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for procedures. What You Bring: - You have at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You hold a current ARRT certification or equivalent in Radiologic Technology. - You possess strong knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and procedures. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are capable of working independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a high-volume hospital setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional radiology. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off schedules.
