Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician working evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. What You'll Do: - You will operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to assist in interventional radiology procedures. - You will prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. - You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient workflow. - You will monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any changes in condition. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with technological advancements. - You will manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for procedures. What You Bring: - You have at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You hold a current ARRT certification or equivalent in Radiologic Technology. - You possess strong knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and procedures. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are capable of working independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a high-volume hospital setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional radiology. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off schedules.
