Role Overview: As an IR Tech on the evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. - You will manage inventory and restock supplies as needed. - You will provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their treatment. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging techniques. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - You have the ability to work evening shifts as per the selected schedule. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with multiple shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off rotations. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional procedures. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Previous experience working in a large healthcare system.
