Role Overview: As an IR Tech on evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures by preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while delivering high-quality care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during IR procedures by operating imaging equipment and monitoring patient status. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and workflow. - You will troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment promptly. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. - You will adhere to hospital policies and contribute to a positive work environment. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have proficiency with imaging technologies such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound. - You possess strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic procedures, and patient care. - You hold relevant certifications such as ARRT (Radiography) or equivalent. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working evening or night shifts in a hospital setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional procedures. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume interventional radiology department.
