Role Overview: As an IR Tech on evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient operation of imaging equipment. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures by operating imaging technology. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during procedures. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and workflow. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment. - You possess strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures. - You hold current ARRT certification and state licensure as required. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a high-volume hospital setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional radiology. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Ability to adapt to various shift schedules and maintain consistent performance.
