Role Overview: As an IR Tech on the evening shifts, you will play a vital role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes promptly. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedures and patient information accurately. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care. - You will manage inventory and restock supplies as needed. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging techniques. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or outpatient interventional radiology setting. - Additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off schedules.
