Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician on the evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of imaging equipment and assist physicians in delivering high-quality patient care. What You'll Do: - You will operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment during evening shifts. - You will prepare patients and assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures. - You will monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. - You will manage multiple shift options including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, or 5-2 split 12-hour shifts. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent) required. - Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment and imaging software. - Strong patient care and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team during evening hours. - Flexibility to work various shift schedules as outlined. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with multiple shift patterns and adaptability to changing schedules. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac imaging. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Previous experience in a high-volume hospital setting.
