Role Overview: As an IR Tech on evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient operation of imaging equipment. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care. - You will troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of IR procedures and imaging technology. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in interventional radiology. - Additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns as needed.
