Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures during evening shifts. You will ensure the smooth operation of imaging equipment and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures. - You will assist physicians during procedures by operating imaging technology and monitoring patient status. - You will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. - You will maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures and equipment usage. - You will collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and workflow. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. - You will manage multiple shift schedules effectively, including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, or 5-2 split 12-hour shifts. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have proficiency with interventional radiology imaging equipment and procedures. - You hold current ARRT certification or equivalent licensure. - You possess strong communication and teamwork skills. - You demonstrate the ability to work independently during evening shifts. - You have a commitment to patient-centered care and safety. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a high-volume hospital or outpatient setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac imaging. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns as needed.
