Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician on evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment, contributing to high-quality patient care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain imaging equipment for IR procedures. - You will assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures. - You will monitor patient status and ensure safety throughout procedures. - You will manage inventory and sterilization of instruments. - You will document procedures and maintain accurate patient records. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care. - You will adhere to all safety and regulatory standards. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent). - You possess strong knowledge of imaging equipment and safety protocols. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You are able to work flexible evening shifts as outlined (4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, or 5-2 split 12-hour shifts). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with advanced interventional radiology procedures. - Additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Previous experience working in a hospital setting.
