Role Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician on the evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of imaging equipment and the safety and comfort of patients during their care. What You'll Do: - You will operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment during evening shifts. - You will assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures. - You will prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes promptly. - You will maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information. - You will adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with technological advancements. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an IR Technician or in a related radiologic technology role. - You have proficiency with imaging equipment and interventional radiology procedures. - You hold relevant certifications such as ARRT or equivalent. - You demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills. - You are able to work independently during evening shifts with minimal supervision. - You have a commitment to safety and quality standards in healthcare. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a high-volume hospital setting. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac imaging. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Flexibility to work various shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off schedules.
