Role Overview: As an IR Tech on evening shifts, you will play a vital role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while assisting the medical team. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during IR procedures by operating imaging equipment and monitoring patient status. - You will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. - You will maintain accurate documentation and records related to procedures and patient care. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize workflow and patient outcomes. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have proficiency with imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and digital subtraction angiography. - You possess strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures. - You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - You hold relevant certifications such as ARRT (Radiography) or equivalent. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working evening or variable shifts. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional radiology. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Prior experience in a hospital or large healthcare system.
