Role Overview: As an IR Tech working evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and supplies for procedures. - You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - You will monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes. - You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will document procedures accurately and maintain patient records. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. - You will manage inventory and restock supplies as needed. - You will provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and their families. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - You have certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent. - You possess strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging techniques. - You demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills. - You are able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - You have flexibility to work various evening shift schedules as outlined. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with multiple shift patterns including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, or 7 on/7 off rotations. - Additional certifications in vascular or cardiac interventional procedures. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Previous experience working in a large healthcare system.
