Role Overview: As an IR Tech on the evening shifts, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures by preparing and operating imaging equipment and assisting medical staff. This position offers multiple shift options to accommodate different schedules, ensuring flexibility while maintaining high-quality patient care. What You'll Do: - You will prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment for procedures. - You will assist physicians and nurses during IR procedures to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency. - You will monitor and adjust imaging equipment settings to capture optimal diagnostic images. - You will maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards. - You will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care. - You will participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. - You will manage multiple shift schedules effectively, including 4 10-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, or 5-2 split 12-hour shifts. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or similar role. - Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on interventional radiology. - Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic procedures. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening shifts. Bonus Points If You Have: - Additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS. - Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Previous experience with multiple shift scheduling.
