Role Overview: The Director of Imaging Services will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery. This role is pivotal in advancing imaging technologies and fostering a collaborative environment among clinical teams. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of the imaging department to ensure seamless service and patient satisfaction. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and technology adoption. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals to maintain high standards of care. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize diagnostic imaging processes. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of the imaging services. - You will drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs within the department. - You will stay current with industry trends and innovations to continuously improve imaging services. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of imaging technologies such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. - You have proven experience in managing teams and leading operational improvements. - You hold relevant certifications in radiology or healthcare management. - You demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large healthcare system or hospital setting. - Advanced degree in healthcare administration or related field. - Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and accreditation processes. - Experience with budgeting and financial management in healthcare.
