Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service delivery and patient outcomes. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to integrate imaging services with overall patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency within the imaging department. - You will drive the adoption of new imaging technologies and innovative practices. - You will monitor performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - You have proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and team leadership. - You demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - You hold relevant certifications in radiology or imaging management. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and imaging software. - Advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare administration or management. - Experience in a large, multi-facility health system. - A track record of leading successful quality improvement projects.
