Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery. You will play a critical role in advancing imaging technologies and fostering a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of the imaging department to ensure smooth and effective service. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and patient care. - You will lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize imaging protocols. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance. - You will drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics. - You will stay current with emerging imaging technologies and industry trends. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. - Proven ability to manage teams and lead operational improvements. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation processes. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification as a Radiology Administrator (CRA) or similar credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Background in budgeting and financial management within healthcare. - Demonstrated success in implementing innovative imaging technologies.
