Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage and coordinate all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service delivery and patient outcomes. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to integrate imaging services with overall patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency initiatives. - You will drive quality improvement projects and adopt new imaging technologies. - You will represent the imaging department in organizational leadership meetings and community outreach. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in imaging services or radiology. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex operations. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Radiology Administration or Healthcare Management. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Background in quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. - Previous experience in a large health system or academic medical center.
