Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. Your role is pivotal in driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging departments, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound services. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and patient care. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare leaders to optimize diagnostic workflows. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment procurement. - You will analyze performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives. - You will stay current with technological advancements and integrate new imaging modalities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging technologies and regulatory requirements. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to develop and execute strategic plans. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Radiology Administration or related credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Experience working in a large, integrated health system.
