Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage and coordinate all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service quality and efficiency. - You will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance for imaging services. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and diagnostic accuracy. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new imaging technologies. - You will analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical imaging or healthcare management. - Proven leadership experience managing imaging or radiology departments. - Strong knowledge of imaging technologies and healthcare compliance standards. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification as a Radiology Administrator (CRA) or similar credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in healthcare settings.
