Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement strategic plans for imaging services aligned with organizational goals. - You will manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals to ensure optimal performance. - You will oversee the daily operations of imaging departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to integrate imaging services into patient care pathways. - You will monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. - You will lead initiatives to adopt new imaging technologies and improve service delivery. - You will manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively. - You will ensure patient safety and quality standards are consistently met. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or related healthcare leadership roles. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. - Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex healthcare operations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. - Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in imaging services. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Radiology Administration or Healthcare Management. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Demonstrated success in implementing innovative imaging technologies. - Strong financial acumen with experience managing large departmental budgets.
