Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct the daily operations of imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and improve patient outcomes. - You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - You will collaborate with physicians, technologists, and administrative staff to optimize workflow and patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. - You will analyze performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives. - You will stay current with technological advancements and integrate new imaging technologies as appropriate. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. - Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex operations. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation processes in healthcare. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification as a Radiology Administrator (CRA) or similar credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Background in budgeting and financial management within healthcare settings. - Demonstrated success in implementing innovative imaging technologies.
