Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. Your role is pivotal in driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic growth in imaging departments. What You'll Do: - You will manage and coordinate all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards. - You will lead a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff to optimize patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of imaging services. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to integrate imaging services with overall patient care strategies. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction. - You will ensure the adoption and maintenance of advanced imaging technologies and equipment. - You will represent the imaging department in organizational leadership meetings and external partnerships. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Experience with budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. - Relevant certifications in radiology or healthcare management are preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large, integrated health system. - Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Demonstrated success in leading technology adoption and innovation in imaging services.
