Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services that support patient care and clinical outcomes. You will drive strategic initiatives, manage teams, and collaborate across departments to enhance imaging capabilities and efficiency. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement strategic plans for imaging services aligned with organizational goals. - You will manage daily operations of imaging departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of imaging services. - You will collaborate with clinical leaders to optimize imaging protocols and patient care pathways. - You will ensure the adoption and integration of advanced imaging technologies and best practices. - You will monitor quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - You will represent imaging services in organizational leadership meetings and external partnerships. What You Bring: - You bring at least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in imaging or radiology services. - You bring strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - You bring excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. - You bring experience managing budgets and operational workflows in a healthcare setting. - You bring a relevant advanced degree or certification in healthcare administration, radiology, or related fields. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS management. - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Familiarity with emerging imaging technologies and AI applications. - Previous experience in a large, integrated health system.
