Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of the imaging services department to ensure efficient and effective patient care. - You will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and integrate new technologies. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize patient workflows and service delivery. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of the imaging department. - You will drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators. - You will represent the imaging services department in organizational leadership meetings and community outreach. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and healthcare regulations. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Experience with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare setting. - Relevant certifications in imaging or healthcare administration are preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with advanced imaging technologies and digital health solutions. - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and data analytics. - Previous experience in a large, integrated health system.
