Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. Your role is pivotal in driving innovation, maintaining compliance, and fostering a collaborative environment that supports patient-centered care. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service quality and efficiency. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to integrate imaging services with overall patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational performance metrics. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new imaging technologies. - You will represent the imaging department in organizational leadership meetings. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - Proficiency with healthcare IT systems and imaging software. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification as a Radiology Administrator (CRA) or similar credentials. - Experience with large health systems or academic medical centers. - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Familiarity with emerging imaging technologies and digital health trends.
