Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of imaging services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - You will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and patient outcomes. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of the imaging department. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to integrate imaging services with overall patient care. - You will ensure the adoption of new imaging technologies and best practices to maintain cutting-edge services. - You will monitor quality assurance programs and implement improvements as needed. - You will represent the imaging department in organizational meetings and community outreach initiatives. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of radiology and imaging technologies, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound. - Proven ability to manage budgets and operational workflows in a healthcare setting. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in medical imaging. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification as a Radiology Administrator (CRA) or similar credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and imaging software. - Background in project management and process improvement methodologies. - Familiarity with community health initiatives and patient education programs.
