Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. Your role is pivotal in driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic growth in imaging departments. What You'll Do: - You will manage and coordinate all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards. - You will lead a team of imaging professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. - You will collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize imaging protocols and patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance to maximize operational efficiency. - You will analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction. - You will stay current with technological advancements and integrate innovative imaging solutions. - You will represent the imaging services department in leadership meetings and contribute to organizational strategic planning. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging technologies, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. - Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements. - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Radiology Administration or related professional credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Background in strategic planning and project management. - Familiarity with patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
