Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and patient outcomes. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency within the imaging department. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic services. - You will drive the adoption of new imaging technologies and best practices. - You will monitor and analyze performance metrics to continuously improve service quality. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - You have proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - You demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - You hold a relevant degree in healthcare administration, radiologic technology, or a related field. - You are proficient in healthcare information systems and imaging software. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies. - Certification as a Radiology Administrator (CRA) or similar credentials. - Experience in a large, multi-site healthcare system. - Familiarity with emerging imaging technologies and AI applications in radiology.
