Role Overview: The Director of Imaging Services will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery. This role is pivotal in advancing imaging technologies and fostering a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of the imaging department to ensure seamless service and patient satisfaction. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and technology adoption. - You will lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize imaging workflows. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and performance metrics for the department. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate patient care and operational efficiency. - You will represent the imaging services in organizational meetings and external partnerships. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of imaging technologies, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance. - You have proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - You demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. - You hold relevant certifications in radiology or healthcare management. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and PET. - Background in healthcare IT systems and imaging software. - Experience in budget management and strategic planning. - A master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
