Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services that support patient care and clinical outcomes. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of the imaging services department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - You will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and integrate new technologies. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize patient care pathways and imaging workflows. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of the imaging department. - You will ensure quality assurance and safety protocols are rigorously followed to maintain accreditation standards. - You will drive initiatives for staff training, professional development, and performance evaluation. - You will analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency and service enhancement. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation requirements. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals. - Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and operational analytics. Bonus Points If You Have: - Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Technology, or related field. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS/RIS). - Certification such as Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) or equivalent. - Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement and innovation projects.
